Fire Drill – Monday October 11th, 6:30pm

For all Inlet fireman – we are hoping to go through some turnout gear and go over our new portable pond pump with the new rescue truck. All members are encouraged to attend.

Extrication Drill; Chemical Decontamination Class

Vehicle Extrication, Combined Drill w/ Old Forge:
Monday August 9, 19:00 hrs
All Fire & EMS personnel are encouraged attend. This is especially important given the new hybrid cars out there and the extra electrical charge in them.

Chemical Suicide – Basic Decontamination Course:
September 28, 19:00 hrs at Indian Lake Fire Hall
September 29, 2010 at 19:00 hrs at the Lake Pleasant Fire Hall.
This will be a basic, one night course designed for both Fire and EMS with hands-on training showing what is involved if decontamination becomes a necessity at the scene.

Chemical Suicide Course

Open to ALL Fire Departments and EMS providers. ALL FIRST RESPONDERS SHOULD TAKE THIS CLASS – it could save your LIFE!  The class is only 2 hours long and will be held twice:
Blue Mt. Lake fire station – July 15 at 19:00
Lake Pleasant fire station – July 22 at 19:00

Burn Trailer Drills in Old Forge: June 8th, 9th & 14th

On June 8th, 9th and 14th Old Forge is having drills in the burn trailer. I am hoping to get a truck and guys down on the 8th and 14th. We will leave Inlet at 6:30pm. This is the only time they will have the trailer. Anyone interested in interior fire fighting and/or rescue should attend. This would also be good training for EMS doing rehab. Anyone and Everyone interested in going, please let me know.  – Don Townsend

Pediatric Emergency Drill, June 22

Inlet Ambulance Squad will conduct a pediatric emergency drill on Tuesday June 22, time to be anounced.

Heart Attacks Drill, May 18

Cancelled due to instructor illness – may be rescheduled at a later date.
Inlet Ambulance Squad will conduct a heart attack drill on Tuesday May 18, 7p.m. at the IVES building.
Old Forge, Big Moose and Raquette Lake ambulance squads are all invited.
